Has anyone done the mittens yet. In the pattern she says they fit a small woman’s hand. How small is small?
I have woman hands but they aren’t particularly tiny hands.

I have a small hand and they fit me perfectly. I read this on hello yarn’s website:
“*I’m thinking the best way to change the size would be to knit these in different yarn weights. 8 sts. per inch (fingering weight) would make one 6″ around and 5 sts. per inch (worsted weight) would do 9.5″ around, etc. ”
Hope that helps,

I have little hands in that my fingers are short, but I have wide palms. My first WCTP mitten was knitted a little tight because I was still getting into the swing of colorwork…and it didn’t quite fit. I made another, being careful to try and stay loose…and I added a couple rows around the top before I started my decreases…and voila! Pretty mitten fits fat hand…*grins*
I will be posting pics to my blog hopefully this afternoon…
